Rollin' Along


I've been doing a lot of these crescent roll-ups lately.  They are simple and yummy, and now that I've learned my lesson and only by the name brand crescent rolls, a snap to assemble and bake.

This week's version was these Turkey Bacon Crescents from Plain Chicken.  I swapped out the provolone for the Colby-jack in the refrigerator, but otherwise followed the rules.  They were cheesy, warm and toasty.  They could probably use a stronger cheese flavor, but maybe that's just because I'm a cheese person.  My husband appreciated the bacon flavor and didn't notice a lack of cheese.
