Pie for Deacons came early this month (Deacon Meetings on Valentine's Day are NOT cool). I decided to go for something simple and easy this go 'round--Chocolate Chip Pie.
This pie is rich! Mine got an interesting meringuey sort of top and then a thick, rich cookie-like texture underneath. Don't know if that was supposed to happen, but it tasted fine, just didn't slice well.
If I was a milk and cookies sort of girl, this would be perfect with a glass of milk.
