Chicken and Cheese...

...always a good combination in my book. On a Black Friday sale, I found a great deal on Betty Crocker's standard best recipes book. I've been trying a few of the recipes in it for this month - the Pecan Maple Chicken was another. The Cheesy Chicken Strips on Tuesdays were a much greater success, however. (Both are from the 20 minute section.)

This recipe is very easy and tasty. Although I require my little one to eat whatever we're eating for every meal, this is definitely kid friendly. The only difference in my prep was that I used the flash frozen chicken tenderloins instead of cutting chicken breasts. BBQ sauce as a dip was good, but I also tried some feta, dill yogurt dip and that was excellent.
