Based on the ingredients, I think my name for it makes more sense than Pecan-Maple Chicken and this recipe was a little flat. You'd think that adding syrup and pecans to anything would make it fabulous (or maybe I'm channeling Buddy the Elf), but I was disappointed. The syrup flavor was weak and the pecans got a little too carmelized by the time the chicken was cooked through.
I guess if we want something sweet for supper, we'll stick to the basics from now on - "candy, candy canes, candy corn and syrup". Or, if it's just the three of us and Buddy doesn't come for dinner--pancakes.
