A Little Taste of Disney

We are headed to Disney in the summer, and our heads have been filled with making dining reservations, so that date is coming up soon. So, when I was making my menu for March and stumbled across this recipe for Disney Grilled Cheese on my Pinterest, I knew it was just the thing to further our vacation planning spirit.

If you've been around the blog for any time at all, you know that I have a thing for cheese, so I knew this Disney Grilled Cheese was going to be great for many reasons. To begin, it has A LOT of cheese (check out the toasty cheese crust that oozed out in the pic), and I am here for it. I mostly followed the recipe, using regular sharp cheddar in the cream cheese mixture. I only made a half recipe of the garlic spread, and it was more than enough for four large sandwiches.

The flavor of the garlic spread on the outside really added a nice touch to the super cheesy goodness inside. They were so rich that I could only eat half a sandwich. No complaints, though, the second half was perfect for lunch the next day. Even if you aren't looking for a taste of Disney, this is a great gourmet grilled cheese for when you want fancy comfort food. You also could totally change up the bread or cheese combinations to suit your personal tastes too.

As someone who is not the biggest fan of cheese, the way you described this sandwich almost makes me want to try it lol. I've only been to Disney once, so I wouldn't buy a grilled cheese there, but I'll let my brother's know, they like cheese a lot.
