A BIG Cookie to Celebrate

We finally had a weekend with zero plans. Zero. We were all so relieved. To celebrate, we had homemade pizza (Chicken Bacon Ranch, if you're curious), and a giant skillet cookie.

It worked out perfectly to make the cookie while the pizza was baking, and then slide it into the oven to bake while we ate our pizza. The dough for the cookie went super fast since it uses melted butter, and pretty much everything is standard chocolate chip cookie instructions. I would say to add just a bit more salt than is called for, but otherwise, this was a terrific cookie. Gooey and soft and perfect with ice cream.
