The Tres Leches Pancakes are everything we loved about the cake in a tasty breakfast--which we ate for dinner. Instead of the pancake recipe, I decided to just make pancakes from my regular pancake mix. We all love the Krusteaz pancakes, and I was running a little short on time by the time I got the three milks combined and starting to thicken a little.
We topped our pancakes with the three-milk syrup and then plenty of fresh strawberries. Strawberries are a perfect way to cut through the sweet creaminess of regular the regular cake, and they worked so deliciously on the pancakes too. When you serve your pancakes, I recommend putting a little of the milk syrup down first so that the pancakes can start soaking up the milk mixture right away. Then use a heavy hand over the top, add sliced strawberries, and you're all set for an amazing breakfast bite that's perfect for any time of day.
