Roasty Toasty Crispy Edges

We love roast veggies at our house, especially broccoli because of the toastiness on the tree part of the veggie. It's crispy, salty goodness make us happy. So, when this Sheet Pan Broccoli Tortellini Bake showed up on Pinterest, I was pretty sure this was a recipe we would enjoy.

I actually followed the recipe fairly closely this time. The one change up I made was using Turkey Smoked Sausage in stead of the chicken sausage called for in the recipe. The smoked sausage was a little salty, probably, but I'm not complaining.

The toasty edges of the tortellini, sausage, and broccoli where so tasty! We all loved the crunchy texture, especially because it is so unexpected with the tortellini. I think this recipe has a ton of variations in our future. Obviously, you can swap out the sausage to other varieties, but also changing up the veggies would be fun as well. So much potential for future eating!

This dish looks and sounds delicious! I'll admit, I struggle to eat veggies. I don't even want to think about how long it's been since I last had one. As someone who struggles with cooking, this recipe looks simple enough. It seems like something I would enjoy as a major pasta lover and something that my body would be grateful for. You may have even inspired me to give some other Pinterest recipes a try. I'll add this to my list for sure, thank you for sharing!
