Chicken with a Twist

Looking for the perfect slow cooker meal that has tons of flavor, but is super easy to make? Look no further.

Honey Butter Crockpot Chicken is the super duper easy to assemble, and there's very little hands on time right before dinner. I loved that it was tasty but not heavy, and that it didn't have that weird "chicken from a crockpot" flavor that sometimes happens.
I happened to have some matchstick carrots on hand, so I threw those in for the duration of the cooking time. They added color, a little flavor, and some crunch. Perfect. We paired our chicken with oven baked brown rice. I felt healthy just looking at it all.😄

Seriously, this was a delicious meal that had just the right balance of flavors. It felt slightly exotic, but not so much that I was tired of it right away. In fact, the leftovers for lunch were perfectly yummy all over again.

Yum!! What a perfect fall meal, the textures between the chicken and rice sound so different but I am sure they mesh well together. Looks like a great meal for a cold day or if you want a hot meal to feel better!

This meal would be an excellent dish to serve for Thanksgiving or Friendsgiving dinner. In addition to the chicken, the carrots and rice will make for a perfect combination that you may include in the meal.

I love all the flavors. Do you often use a slow cooker, I see people complain about food being cooked in them just because everything feels the same. But for someone like me who doesn’t have a lot of cooking skills I think I would be the most comfortable trying to cook that way.
