When you don't have IKEA nearby...

We live in a part of the country that is not blessed by the presence of Ikea or Trader Joe's so we have to make do with what we do have. This recipe for Crock-pot Swedish Meatballs is a simple and easy way to bring your favorite Ikea dish home, some assembly required.😂

These meatballs were a piece of cake to throw together. They bubbled away during the afternoon and created a lovely aroma to bring us to the table. I chose to serve ours over mashed potatoes (the steam and mash variety from the freezer section), since we already had pasta/noodles on the menu a few more times during the week. I also added in some baby bella mushrooms to punch up the flavor a little.

These were a big hit with the fam. Nothing fancy but perfect comfort food for this part of the fall season.
