When You Want Takeout, but Don't Want Takeout

In our smallish city, takeout options are relatively limited to your usual pizza, Chinese, and sandwiches.  The lack of variety usually means it's just more interesting to make something at home.  That doesn't mean, however, that we don't occasionally crave takeout types of food.

And, boy oh boy, did I just find an excellent dupe for Mongolian Chicken (or beef, it would totally work in this recipe).  It was pretty easy to make, and we all loved it.  It is also officially leftover breakfast worthy, so that's quite the seal of approval.

I followed the recipe exactly as written (shocker!), paired it with some crockpot baked rice, and it was a winner all around.  I can't wait to make it again, probably with steak, just for kicks. So, when the takeout mood hits and the budget or local options won't allow for it, definitely give this a try.
