Today's recipe is more salsa verde goodness with these Slow Cooker Salsa Verde Honey Lime Chicken Tacos. I only made the chicken, but it was good, even with regular soft taco shells. (I tried both corn and flour.)Our resident Salsa Verde aficionado (my kiddo) proclaimed them amazing. When asked if it was better or worse than our regular favorite, she said "as good, but in a different way". It definitely as a sweeter quality, and the seasoning is first rate.
This chicken was super easy to put together, and the smell while it was cooking really made me look forward to dinner. I'd highly recommend adding this one to your taco repertoire.
