Simple Steak and Potatoes

I don't suppose steak and potatoes are ever really that complicated, but this is a pretty easy and quick version.

I did a lot of the prep for this Garlic Butter Steak and Potatoes early in the day, and then evening prep was a breeze.  I sliced the steak and made the marinade early in the day, then just let it sit in the fridge during the day.  Instead of the baby potatoes, I just chopped up some larger ones from the pantry, and then boiled them until almost tender.  When dinner time came, I grabbed my herbs from the garden, added in some shredded carrot for color, and cooked everything up pretty quickly.

This had great flavor, and was a great alternative to the ordinary steak and potato versions.  As you can see it even has lab approval...
