That may not be the technical title for these Pineapple BBQ Meatballs, but that's sure the best way to describe their flavors.
This recipe is stupid simple, and still delectable. Easy ingredients, limited prep work (I didn't even stir the ingredients together as suggested by the original blog), and short, hands-off cooking time. I used a combination of regular and Hawaiian barbecue sauces since both were in the fridge. I also used turkey meatballs to keep our fat and calorie content down a little. Honestly, I'm so used to turkey meatballs, I don't even notice a difference now.
These would be great by themselves as an appetizer, and they were delicious as our main dish served over rice. I'm sure they'd be a hit at a potluck or family get together.
