Puff/Dutch Baby/German pancakes are a perfect end-of-the-school-day food. They are quick to prepare, more substantial than regular pancakes, and done in no time with hands free cooking. They are a go-to choice for me.
I'm particularly proud of the beautiful puff on today's version, Pear German Pancake. In addition, the sweet flavor of the baked pears were a perfect addition to the traditional puff pancake. We topped ours with whipped cream and a light maple syrup drizzle. The creamy, sweet combination was amazing.
