Roasted

No pictures this time, just sharing another great recipe for roasted veggies.  I want to include more veggies in my menus this new year, and I was curious to see how it would work to roast them starting from frozen.

Tonight I tried using a combination of frozen cut green beans, and fresh carrots cut more like shoestring potatoes.  I sprinkled them with garlic salt and Italian seasoning, gave it a stir, and put the pan in.

These veggies were SO good.  I highly encourage waiting until you get a nice crispy dark color on most of the pieces.  It just makes the flavor that much more amazing, and makes me look all the more forward to trying a bunch of new combos over the course of the next few months.
