I haven't had a bland disappointment in quite some time, but it was bound to happen again, I suppose.
Cheesy Chicken Meatballs sounded like a good idea, but ugh, boooooooooooorrrrrrriiiiiiing. Even though I had to swap in mostly Italian bread crumbs (I ran out of plain), there was just nothing to taste! First, there's no added salt to the recipe, and it desperately needs something. Maybe adding the cheese to the meatball mixture would help, or perhaps a dipping sauce--we tried ranch, Chick-Fil-A, and BBQ.
So there you have it, a perfectly fine, but plain recipe. Forgettable at our house, but just the ticket if you're on a restricted diet, or want to try out a flavorful sauce.
