I saved some time on mine by using cooked, frozen chicken--use the rest of a rotisserie chicken or buy it from Costco for the same result without the work. I added carrot slices I already had in the fridge, tossed some chopped onion and the rest of the ingredients in, and then just let it go. Perfectly swift and easy.
The serving suggestion for this was different because the chips were on the bottom. I liked the look and the way it worked. Give it a shot and see if you like it that way.
