We had a potluck at church this past weekend. Potlucks always challenge me because we have to get to church early, so there isn't a lot of prep time the day of. So then I look for something that can be made the day ahead of time, and that can be tricky too.
I ended up with my trusty Crockpot Mac & Cheese and this Salted Caramel Sour Cream Cake.
The cake is super easy to make, and was a big hit at church. I was surprised that the caramel didn't cover up the canned icing flavor a little more, but otherwise really enjoyed this recipe (this also improved a day later). The cake was moist and yummy, and salt on top is always delish.
