Sweet!

There's something about the sugar level of pecan pie that's just a little over the top.  It's fantastic, mind you, but wow, so much sweet.  In this case, Toffee Pecan Pie was just the little extra kick in the pants that was pretty awesome.


I don't know that I could taste a lot of toffee flavor, but it was a rich, delicious, classic pecan pie flavor with a little something extra.  Even better?  It couldn't be easier.  I used a refrigerated crust, stirred everything else together, garnished with three extra pecans, and added vanilla ice cream for serving.  Perfect.
