Two kid favorites rolled into one easy, fast-prep meal? Sold. I'm all about a sure winner with very little work. Enter Taco Mac & Cheese.
I've made up my own version of this before, but this time I went with someone else's instructions and used a few shortcuts. I started with a box of mac and cheese (prep and make as you usually would), and warmed some pre-prepped taco meat. After the mac and cheese was ready, I served it into dishes, topped with taco meat, shredded cheddar, green onion, Doritos and sour cream. Tomatoes would have been awesome, too, but I forgot to buy them. Oops.
This was definitely enjoyed by all of us. Great flavors--familiar but different, plus Doritos make everything better, right?
