Praising Pesto

Summer is holding on for dear life in the Midwest.  It's been hot!  Good thing I've still had summer grilling recipes on the menu.

This past week I tried this simple marinade from Plain Chicken.  I had pesto left from these grilled cheese sandwiches, so it was a perfect way to use it up.  I also liked the idea of the fresh, bright orange flavor.

The steaks were delicious, and got rave reviews from the youngest at our table.  We had them as is for dinner, and then the leftovers over the weekend as sandwiches, and both were delicious.  It was also a nice change from the other soy/Worcestershire marinades I've typically used.  Definitely a keeper!
