My little dumpling had nothing but raves for this Bacon Chicken and Dumplings.
It IS great comfort food, and you'll have plenty to serve to friends and family because it's a big recipe. We have lots of leftovers for lunches this week, but I'm not complaining. I thought it was pretty good too.
This recipe is not complicated, but it does take a bit of prep work and time. Make sure you allow yourself enough time for each step. You can step away to fold clothes, set the table, or in my case, give the dog a bath, but you will need to check in on a pretty regular basis. That's probably my only criticism for the recipe, wish there was a way to shorten things up a bit.
