I Want to be Wowed

I love to try new recipes.  My husband would tell you that I don't go back to the old recipes we like, nearly often enough.  Lately, though, most of my new recipes seem to be underwhelming.  Good, but certainly not good enough to make it back into an already crowded rotation.

Tonight's Chicken with Caramelized Pears is no exception.  I enjoyed it.  It fed my hunger.  Bye-bye recipe.  Nothing was really wrong, but nothing was terribly awesome either.  Even though it's a simple, weeknight dinner at home--and I've never pretended to be a gourmet--I still want to be wowed.

If you are a balsamic fan or a fan of caramelized pears, this one might be for you.
