We've had a taste or two of spring around here--a few warm days, some thunderstorms, etc. But the last couple of days have been back to winter cold and wind. I am ready to see green grass, flowers blooming, leaves on the trees, and spend more time outside.
My menu plan for April definitely reflects my desire for springtime. Several of the nights are dedicated to grilling. I know, I know some people grill all year. Where we live and the way the house is situated it's just not practical. The wind whips through our backyard and destroys any chance of the grill retaining heat, even at full blast.
I can not wait for meals on the patio, visiting with neighbors while the kids play, and watching the sun sink low at later and later times.
