I was heading out of town for work for a couple of days and wanted to make sure I had food prepared before a left so no one at home would go hungry. I was intending to make sloppy joes, but didn't have the necessary ingredients to make the kind using a packet of seasoning, nor did I have alphabet soup to make my mother-in-law's recipe. I did a quick All Recipes search and found this Sloppy Joes II recipe. I had everything necessary on hand and gave it a try.
When I returned home, the sloppy joes got a thumbs up from the husband and daughter. I used what was leftover to make stuffed baked potatoes and I agree it's has good flavor. Nothing extraordinary, but do you really want extraordinary sloppy joes? Nope, not here anyway. Predictable and tasty is just fine with us.
