Best of Better Homes

I always go back to my basic Better Homes and Gardens cookbook, and today it didn't fail me. For dinner we had this recipe for Maryland Crab Cakes. Very tasty--I used 12 oz of imitation crab, but didn't vary anything else but the Worchestershire sauce (left that out, didn't have it on hand). We had fresh asparagus and beets too. For dessert I made the recipe from the book for Applesauce Oatmeal Cookies (the link here is from All Recipes). Tasty and not terrible for us!
