My sister invited us over for a Burger Bar this evening (yummo burgers they were too!). My contribution to the little event was dessert. She suggested something with apple since it is that season. Since my pie making skills are mediocre and the number of family attending was over 8, I decided to look for something different. I found German Apple Cake. The recipe I used also suggested cream cheese frosting which I did. The whole thing was easy to make and a hit with everyone, including my husband and brother-in-law who normally require chocolate as an ingredient in every dessert. Get the ingredients and make one soon!
