I love a Twix bar. Who doesn't? That cookie plus caramel plus chocolatey goodness is the best. A great reason, then, to try this No Bake variety.
Now, No Bake in this case doesn't exactly mean no work. There are three different steps, none of which are difficult, but each requires a little work and some time between the steps.
Ultimately, I wouldn't say that this takes exactly like a Twix bar, but I would say that it's super yummy and sweet. The homemade caramel is outstanding, and the marshmallow and mini Nilla wafer (I added a few extras) combo is yum.
This would make another great addition to holiday cookie trays if you are still in the making and baking process. Feel free to cut them pretty small--they are super sweet and best in small doses.
