Hot Brown!

I was a little out of touch with Kentucky Derby happening this year.  Nevertheless, I remembered to put these Hot Brown Sandwiches on the menu.

This recipe was pretty straightforward.  Just great flavors combined into one yummy dish.  I really loved the cheese sauce.  It was nothing exotic, but for some reason it was really good.  One modification I made that worked well--I used pre-cooked bacon crumbles (thank you, Costco) and just added them with a minute or two left to broil.

This is a great easy weeknight recipe.  Highly recommend, Derby or no.
