For an easy night of crockpot cooking, look no further than this Honey Sesame Chicken.  Start a second crock of rice, and you're all set.

This is super easy to throw together and run out the door to wherever you need to be.  I chose to use chicken breasts and regular soy sauce.  I cut the red pepper flakes down to just a sprinkle.  I wanted enough to cut the sweet, but not enough to really feel heat.

Then dessert brought us this tasty number: Caramel Apple Pie Poke Cake.  This is another super easy to toss together cake that turns out so sweetly delicious.  The caramel apple flavor is excellent, and a perfect fall treat.  (And so good, it turns out, that I forgot to get a picture of it.  Oops.)

Both of these look so good! Chinese is one of my favorite foods. Whenever I get Chinese food, sesame chicken is on the list of considered options. However, I might have to swap out my takeout and try this recipe. It's probably a lot healthier than takeout and looks so simple to make.

Is it bad that I'm asking for a CrockPot for Christmas? o.O

I guess that's when you know you're getting old...
Rebecca-- I bought my fist crockpot last year because I was seeing too many yummy recipes on Pinterest that needed a crockpot to make. It's a great investment :)

It is approaching 5:00 and I am reading this listening to my stomach growl knowing that I won't be home to eat dinner until about 7:00. This looks delicious! I love Chinese food but have never taken the time to attempt to make it on my own! I am excited to try this! Thanks for sharing!!

Get your first crockpot now, and by the time you are old like me you'll have four. :)
