I often wish I was someone who enjoyed fancy coffee drinks, but alas, no matter what you put into fancy coffee drinks, they still taste like coffee. I do, however, enjoy coffee flavors in desserts, and these Brown Butter Salted Caramel Mocha Cookies had all the right ingredients for an automatic hit.
They totally were. I shared them with my department colleagues, and we all agreed meetings are more tolerable cookies, especially these cookies. The caramel of the caramel bits comes out VERY chewy, but otherwise, they are layer on layer of flavor, and mostly delicious.
