Can I just say I detest what slow cooker do to a food's appearance. I'd love to tell you about this great-tasting new dish I tried, and show you fabulous pictures that make you drool. But, alas, this Sour Cream and Bacon Chicken is made in the crockpot, and therefore, all delicious-looking possibilities are gone. Oh, the recipe is tasty, but there is something so off with the look of crockpot food. It's irritating and disappointing. Nevertheless, this recipe received strong reviews from my little fam, so for that reason I'm sharing it. If you want it to look pretty, bake it in the oven and skip the slow cooker.
