There's just something about brown sugar. Sure, there's plain ole white sugar, but that just doesn't have the same cozy, comfort food flavor that brown sugar adds to, well, just about everything.
These pork chops were simple and tasty. They have just a bit of heat for those of you who look for that sort of thing. We enjoyed them with simple mashed potatoes and applie slices as the perfect foil to the spice. Although the sauce isn't terribly thick, there is a lovely caramelly flavor that comes through. Tasty, quick and simple. Try it!
