As a marketing prof, I consider it my sworn duty to try new products. All in the name of science I've tried Banana Split Oreos (blech), Sweet and Salty Bugles (yum) and many other "new" items.
In my most recent issue of All You magazine there was a coupon for Candy Corn M&M's. I was on the hunt. Walmart came through once again and now I had two bags of candy to figure out how to use.
Then inspiration struck! White chocolate chips and macadamia nuts make an excellent cookie, I bet these M&M's would taste terrific in a cookie too! So, I made the dough for my favorite chocolate chip cookie and substituted the M&M's for the chocolate chips. I didn't have macadamic nuts so I used cashews instead.
It worked! Yummy and festive too!
