My husband is a big fan of chocolate and peanut butter and for his birthday I wanted to find a cake he would enjoy. I liked the sounds of this chocolate cake with Peanut Butter Frosting from Pennies on a Platter. (It is an adaptation of an Ina Garten recipe.) I wanted to make sure the cake was supermoist, so instead of using the cake recipe given with the frosting, I used a sour cream chocolate cake recipe.
