Tough Call

On Tuesday's menu was this recipe from Hillshire Farms for Sausage with Cheese and Broccoli. I think I pulled it out of a magazine ad not too long ago. Normally I wouldn't choose something with Velveeta--it's not real cheese, people--but I find a limited variety of smoked sausage recipes so I decided to give it a try. I was just so-so on it. Dave thought it was really great. To quote "The broccoli didn't taste like broccoli at all." That definitely puts it in the culinary masterpiece in his book! One thing I did learn, the pepper did NOT warm up well when I ate the leftovers. Yuck.
