I was able to get fresh strawberries on vacation and they are yummy! Too bad they are so perishable or I would have brought FAR more home with us. Now I'm in a dilemma--I want to make something with the strawberries for dessert, but I just don't even know where to start. There's always shortcake or pie, of course, but I'm wondering if there isn't even something a bit more scrumptious. Hopefully I have a few spare minutes at work this afternoon to scout out a new recipe.
